NRS-13721 | Judgment rolls [Supreme Court of Civil Judicature]

For each judgment handed down by the Court, a Judgment roll or "record", engrossed on parchment by the party receiving judgment was filed by the Chief Clerk of the Court as an official record of the Court. Each Judgment roll contains a full copy of pleas by litigants (i.e. the complaint of the plaintiff and the reply of the defendant), and is signed by Field, J. On the front of each roll the Chief Clerk (John Gurner) has noted: date of hearing, verdict, and damages awarded (if applicable).Each roll is accompanied by the relevant case papers filed in Court.
