This BioProject describes the gut bacterial microbiome and the gut mycobiome of (i) specific-pathogen free C57BL/6TAC mice and (ii) a colony of Wildlings (C57BL/6TAC with wild mouse microbiome). In a prospective 5-year study we here assess the stability of the microbiome in the colony of Wildlings (C57BL/6TAC with wild mouse microbiome) housed in a standard animal facility, relative to the stability of the microbiome of specific-pathogen free C57BL/6TAC mice .
