CyTOF analysis of PBMC harvested from a microfluidic gut-on-chip with a co-culture of PBMC and Caco-2 intestinal epithelial cells, treated with a mixture of 17 probiotic bacteria or a sterile control. The aim of the experiment was to examine the ability to mimic individual-specific immune responses to probiotics in the gut-on-chip.
