Nineteen years of conservation tillage altered the abundance and composition of soil autotrophic bacteria and microbial catabolic diversity+soil metagenome

The changes in soil autotrophic bacteria composition in response to different tillage practices were analyzed. Four treatments included: conventional tillage with crop residue removed (T), conventional tillage with residue incorporated into the soil (TS), no-tillage with crop residue removed (NT), and no-tillage with residue retention on the soil surface (NTS).
