资源简介:
The data are the properties of rising tone lower-band chorus elements observed over 8 years (2012–2019), including time duration (s), starting frequency (Hz), ending frequency (Hz), L-shell, MLAT, and MLT. To identify and characterize the chorus elements, we used burst-mode waveform data from the Electric and Magnetic Field Instrument Suite and Integrated Science (EMFISIS) instrument onboard the Van Allen Probe A. The electron density (cc) is derived from the upper hybrid resonance (UHR) frequency, as measured by the EMFISIS high-frequency receiver (HFR) in the frequency range of 10 to 500 kHz. These parameters are then used to calculate the duration of 1 MeV electron microbursts induced by the chorus elements.
