Board Division of Water Quality staff have developed this draft map to
graphically display the waterbody assessments in the proposed 2024 Integrated
Report. The Integrated Report combines the Clean Water Act section 305(b) water
quality assessment and the section 303(d) list of impaired waters into one
report that describes the water quality of California’s lakes, rivers, beaches,
and other aquatic ecosystems. This draft map shows assessments for 305(b)
categorization, including waterbody-pollutant combinations proposed for
placement on the 303(d) list of impaired waters. The map also shows
assessments from the 2020-2022 Integrated Report, which has been approved by
U.S. EPA and is California’s current Integrated Report. This draft 2024 map
will be finalized once the 2024 Integrated Report has been approved by U.S.
EPA.</span></p>
