Supplementary Table S1: Life cycle inventories and substitution assumptions for five waste lubricating oil re-refining technologies

This supplementary dataset supports a life cycle assessment of the recovery and treatment of waste lubricating oil retained in used oil filters in Serbia. It contains one Excel workbook with a single worksheet, Table S1, documenting five re-refining technologies based on the industrial inventories reported by Fehrenbach (2005). The table presents material and energy flows, calculation procedures used to reconstruct the foreground inventories in openLCA, selected ecoinvent 3.7.1 background datasets, and substitution assumptions for recovered base oil, coproducts, and net exported energy. Inventory quantities are reported per functional unit of 1,000 kg of waste lubricating oil treated. Calculation formulas, data sources, background proxies, and additional modeling assumptions are documented within the table.
