All Alberta Survey, 1990

The 1990 All Alberta Study (AAS) was the fourth annual survey administered by the Department of Sociology, University of Alberta, through its research facility, the Population Resea rch Laboratory (PRL)--this year's topics include: demographics, health, smoking, alcohol consumption, general health and well-being, care for the elderly, AIDS, the environment, crime and policing, Alberta issues, seatbelt use, social support, grocery spending, childrens' programs, political party preference, television viewing, and travel. This random sample survey of households in the province of Alberta has enabled academic researchers, local community agencies, and government departments to explore a broad spectrum of social issues in an on-going research framework in Alberta.
