Transcriptomic analysis of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum strain S10

Sclerotinia sclerotiorum is a plant pathogen that infects many important crops and causes significant economic losses. Sclerotium is a dormant structure essential for fungal survival and primary infestation. The transcriptome analysis was conducted for sclerotial development in this study. We identified many genes associated with sclerotial development. This research provides a transcriptomic basis for understanding fungal development and managing plant diseases caused by S. sclerotiorum.
