HOT-272 to HOT-311 Particulate Beam Attenuation

These Simons Collaboration on Ocean Processes and Ecology (SCOPE) data products were produced by the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa with support from the Simons Foundation. These data were collected from Hawaii Ocean Time-series cruises from HOT272 to HOT311 aboard various research vessels to Station ALOHA (22.75, -158.00) in the North Pacific Subtropical Gyre. Underway particulate beam attenuation data were collected using a Wetlabs C-star transmissometer plumbed to the ship's underway seawater supply. Data were corrected to remove a running <0.2 micron dissolved component of the signal and particulate beam attenuation data were averaged to hourly. The timestamp is in UTC.
