Active population in Lisbon 2019-2022, by employment status

The active population in the metropolitan area of Lisbon diminished during the period observed. In specific terms, the employed population totaled over 1.33 million in 2019, whereas, in 2022, this figure dropped to 1.32 million. Contrarily, the unemployed population increased from 1,018, in 2019, to 1,040, in 2022.
