The main objectives of this study are: (i) to analyze the microbiota associated to epidermal mucus from European eel and (ii) to identify the reservoir of virulence genes from Vibrio vulnificus. To those purposes we used pyrosequencing (454, Roche) and Illumina HiSeq.
