Publication policies of 31 open access publishers in biology

This table accompanies a short letter we sent to Trends in Plant Science. It contains data from journals homepages on their publication policies, impact factor, and ranking. We use it to illustrate that there are a diverse set of policies in open access publishers, and that many open access publishers are highly selective.
