The two datasets are for the paper entitled Childhood environmental unpredictability and experimentally primed uncertainty in relation to intuitive versus deliberate visual search as a cognitive life history.
The authors investigated the interaction between childhood unpredictability and the experimentally manipulated state of uncertainty on intuitive versus deliberate visual search strategies by conducting a simple visual search (Study 1) and a complex information search (Study 2). The eye-movements of the participants were used as indicators of intuitive strategies versus deliberate strategies during visual search tasks.
