资源简介:
This dataset contains a COMSOL Multiphysics model file associated with two published papers entitled "Fluid mechanical performance of ureteral stents: The role of side hole and lumen size" and “Rethinking ureteral stent design: Do more side holes improve performance?” The uploaded COMSOL file represents one example of the computational simulation setup used in the study. The model is intended for use with COMSOL Multiphysics version 5.4 or later. Other simulation configurations reported in the paper can be reproduced by modifying the side-hole dimensions and number according to the desired geometry. The model contains two simulation steps, representing normal flow in the direction of the ureter and vesicoureteral reflux, respectively. Solution one was used in "Fluid mechanical performance of ureteral stents: The role of side hole and lumen size", while solution two was used in “Rethinking ureteral stent design: Do more side holes improve performance?”. In addition to the COMSOL model file, this dataset includes exported text files containing simulation results. The files `sh=1mm_20Pa_sol2` and `sh=1mm_20Pa_sol3` correspond to the 1 mm side-hole configuration used for the first paper. The files `sh=1mm_20Pa_added_1.2mm_sol2`, `sh=1mm_20Pa_added_1.2mm_sol3`, `sh=1mm_added_0.7mm_20Pa_sol2`, `sh=1mm_added_0.7mm_20Pa_sol3` correspond to COMSOL-exported simulation results for the respective additional side-hole sizes used in paper two. The suffixes `sol2` and `sol3` refer to the two simulated flow conditions in the COMSOL model: normal flow direction and vesicoureteral reflux. These files are provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and reuse of the computational workflow and simulation results described in the associated publications.
