Pallone_25_Data_1.xlsx: This data file includes the modern WOA2018 temperature, WOA2018 salinity, δ18Oseawater, and δ18Opc values for 0 to 500 m at 0.5˚N, 86.5˚W. 1 degree gridded annual mean temperature and salinity values from the World Ocean Atlas 2018 at 0.5˚N, 86.5˚W are available in csv format from the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information at https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/access/world-ocean-atlas-2018/bin/woa18.pl?parameter=t and https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/access/world-ocean-atlas-2018/bin/woa18.pl?parameter=s, respectively (Locarnini et al., 2019; Zweng et al., 2019). All δ18O values are in units of per mil (‰). Pallone_25_Data_2.xlsx: This data file includes the newly reported δ18O and δ13C measurements of T. sacculifer, G. menardii, G. tumida, and P. obliquiloculata from ODP 1240 made in this study, which are presented with their original sample names, meters composite depth assignments, and age assignments. All δ18O and δ13C values are in units of per mil (‰), relative to VPDB. Pallone_25_Data_3.xlsx: This data file includes the δ18O values of G. hexagonus, G. ruber, N. dutertrei, δ13C values of G. hexagonus and N. dutertrei, G. ruber and N. dutertrei Mg/Ca-derived sea surface temperature (SST) and deep thermocline temperature (DTT), and δ18Osw calculated from G. ruber and N. dutertrei, as reported in the studies that originally published these values (Pena et al., 2008; Rippert et al., 2017), along with the age assignments as plotted in this study. G. hexagonus δ18O and δ13C from ODP 1240 is available in the PANGAEA repository (https://doi.org/10.1594/PANGAEA.870412) (Rippert & Tiedemann, 2017). The G. ruber and N. dutertrei δ18O, δ13C, Mg/Ca-derived temperature records, and δ18Osw from ODP 1240 as originally published (Pena et al., 2008) are available upon request to the corresponding author of that study.  Pallone_25_Data_4.xlsx: This data file includes the re-sampled G. ruber, N. dutertrei, G. menardii, G. tumida, and G. hexagonus δ18O values, the re-sampled SST and DTT, the ∆δ18O of N. dutertrei-G. ruber, G. menardii-G. ruber, G. tumida-G. ruber, and G. hexagonus-G. ruber, and the SST-DTT ∆T which are all presented with age as plotted in Figures 3&4 in this study. All δ18O values are in units of per mil (‰), relative to VPDB. Pallone_25_Data_5.xlsx: This data file includes the re-sampled G. ruber (0.5 kyr resolution), N. dutertrei (0.5 kyr resolution), G. menardii (2 kyr resolution), G. tumida (2 kyr resolution), and G. hexagonus (1 kyr resolution) δ18O values, the re-sampled SST (0.5 kyr resolution) and DTT (0.5 kyr resolution) and the ∆δ18O of N. dutertrei-G. ruber (0.5 kyr resolution), G. menardii-G. ruber (2 kyr resolution), G. tumida-G. ruber (2 kyr resolution), and G. hexagonus-G. ruber (1 kyr resolution), and the SST-DTT ∆T (0.5 kyr resolution), which are all presented with age as plotted in this study. All δ18O values are in units of per mil (‰), relative to VPDB. Pallone_25_Data_7.xlsx: This data file includes August 21 insolation at 0˚N, September 21 insolation at 0˚N, and June 21 insolation at 0˚N used in this study (Laskar et al., 2004).
