Univariate analysis of predictors of death.

Characteristics included in the univariate regression analysis are shown. All variables, that approached statistical significance (pBMI – body mass index, DM – diabetes mellitus, Smoking history – actual smoking status at admission, Hypertension – history of hypertension, LV EF – left ventricular ejection fraction, AF – the presence of atrial fibrillation at admission or anytime during index hospitalization, Troponin peak – peak troponin level during hospitalization, Glucose – glucose at admission, Complete revascularization – the absence of any stenosis of 50% or more in at least one coronary artery at discharge.
