资源简介:
This record contains the weave pattern of the fabrics created in the dissertation “Design of Delamination- and Impact-Resistant Fibre Reinforced Composites based on Customized 3D Multilayer Fabrics" by Philipp Maria Huber, RWTH Aachen University, date of oral examination 31.10.2024. The data is intended to help understand the weave pattern and enable the fabrics to be reproduced. Twelve 3D and one 2D reference woven samples have been developed. The textile parameters z-fibre ratio, binding angle and z-binding are varied. The 3D bindings were designed according to the specified restrictions and factor levels from the design of experiments. The constraints include: Omission of bindings in the top and intermediate layers; Uniform material for all yarn systems; Uniform thickness, eight layers; Reduction of the z-fibre content via the floatation of the z fibres. The weave is selected symmetrically so that the top and bottom of the fabric are the same. A broken twill was selected as the weave pattern to prevent a preferred direction due to the twill weave. The twill length corresponds to the floatation of the z-fibres. The record contains the following data: The binding patterns of the 3D fabrics and reference are shown. The visualisation includes the overall weave and the individual weave of the layers. The fully defined weave patterns were created using the CAD/CAM software Design Scope from EAT GmbH, Krefeld, Germany and transferred to the machine data of the weaving machine. The data is saved in EAT Design Scope file format .eatpc. Additionaly pictures of the layer-wise and resulting weave pattern are provided as PDF.
