De novo assembly of guinea fowl (Numida meleagris) and whole-genome re-sequencing

A de novo assembly was obtained using PacBio long-read sequencing, BioNano optical mapping and High-throughput/resolution chromosome conformation capture (Hi-C) scaffolding. The genome annotation from RNA-seq of Illumina paired-end 125bp reads and that of PacBio Iso-Seq using the NCBI Eukaryotic Genome Annotation Pipeline was also provided. The project contains 129 whole-genome re-sequencing data for guinea fowl including outgroup, wild guinea fowl from Africa and domestic guinea fowl Africa and Eurasia.
