资源简介:

This dataset contains the full experimental results of a field campaign investigating the pullout resistance and exhumed grout–soil interface roughness of vertical soil nails installed in the porous, collapsible tropical clay ("argila porosa") of Brasília, Federal District, Brazil (SPT N ≈ 3). The campaign was carried out at an experimental site in Guará, Federal District (≈15°48′59.65″S, 47°58′0.13″W) in March 2020. Eighteen full-scale vertical nails were constructed in a balanced 2 × 3 factorial design combining two drilling methods with three grouting procedures, with three replicate nails per cell: Drilling methods: rotary-percussive drilling with air circulation ("Air"); rotary drilling with water circulation ("Water"). Grouting procedures: conventional gravity grouting with plain CP II cement grout, w/c = 0.5 ("GG"); gravity grouting with an expansive/anti-exudation additive ("GA"); sectorized post-grouting / reinjection ("GR"). Each nail comprised a CA-50 25 mm steel bar with a 1.0 m free length and a 2.0 m bonded length. After 84 days of curing, the nails were pullout-tested to failure and then exhumed. The exhumed grout body of each nail was scanned with a mechanical profilometer to measure the exhumed diameter (∅exu) and the average roughness angle (ARA) of the grout–soil interface. The dataset (provided as .xlsx and .csv) reports, for each of the 18 nails: nail ID, drilling method, grouting type, exhumed diameter ∅exu (cm), average roughness angle ARA (degrees), apparent unit pullout resistance qs (kPa), corrected unit pullout resistance qs,corr (kPa), back-calculated nominal drilled diameter ∅perf (cm), and the ratio qs/qs,corr (= ∅exu/∅perf). The .xlsx file additionally includes group averages by drilling method and grouting type, cement grout characterization data (exudation, unit weight, cohesion, viscosity, unconfined compressive strength, Young's modulus), and a README sheet documenting all columns and units. The data support the article "Drilling method and cement grout additive effects on the pullout resistance and exhumed interface roughness of vertical soil nails in a tropical porous clay" (Barbosa, de Assis & Cunha) and derive from the doctoral thesis of M.G.T. Barbosa (University of Brasília, 2023; https://repositorio.unb.br/jspui/handle/10482/49259). A companion paper on the sectorized post-grouting technique is available at https://doi.org/10.1007/s10706-022-02231-5.
