This is supplementary data for the manuscript "How to think about the shortwave water vapor feedback". 

iwv.nc: contains the integrated water vapor for the different single-column atmospheres

solar_spectrum.nc: contains the solar spectrum (scaled to a total solar irradiance of 409.6 Wm-2) on the used wavenumber grid

absorption.nc: contains the water vapor absorption cross section and its approximations

transmissivity.nc: contains the calculated atmospheric transmissivity for the different absorption cross sections

feedback_analytical.nc: contains the shortwave water vapor feedback from the analytical model

feedback_arts.nc: contains the shortwave water vapor feedback from the full radiative transfer simulations

spectral.nc: contains spectrally resolved opacity, transmissivity and shortwave feedback for exponential approximation
