HOXC8 Promotes Stemness in Colorectal Cancer

Homeotic genes (HOXs) play critical roles in the biological processes of organisms. As a member of this gene family, HOXC8 plays a crucial regulatory role in various cancers, such as breast cancer, small cell lung cancer, and ovarian cancer. However, its specific involvement in the development of colorectal cancer (CRC) remains ambiguous. In this study, we investigated the underlying mechanisms by which HOXC8 promotes the malignant behaviors of CRC.
