This dataset contains empirical estimates on mean dry weight and numerical densities for macroinvertebrates in New Zealand streams. the "dw" is the estimated dry weight in grams for a given taxa. The "no.m2" column is the estimated number of individuals per meter squared. The estimated dry weight and abundance for fish taxa were estimated as described in Pomeranz et al.
