The fast fashion industry has emerged as consumers seek new and trendy outfits now and then. Over the last decade, this industry has grown worldwide. As fast as the trends appear in the frontline, it also disappears that fast and gets replaced by another new set of trends. Forever 21 is one such organization that survived on the model of fast fashion as it came into existence in 1983. Slowly and gradually due to various strategies, the company filed for bankruptcy in 2019. This case study gives an insight into various possible mismanagement from the point of view of strategic management and communication management that the organization must have gone through.
