On Bimodality in the Eccentricity Distribution of Galactic Double Neutron Stars: COMPAS Population Synthesis Data

COMPAS population synthesis data used for the analysis in "On Bimodality in the Eccentricity Distribution of Galactic Double Neutron Stars". The 'MM_USSN_kick_0' dir contains the output of the M&M,0 model studied throughout the paper, and used to generate Figs 1-3. The 'MM_normal', 'Fryer', and 'Fryer_USSN_kick_0' dirs contain the results of varying assumptions about the SN remanent and kick treatments, and were used to generate Fig. A1 and Fig. B in the appendix. The 'MM_USSN_kick_5', 'MM_USSN_kick_10', 'MM_USSN_kick_20', 'MM_USSN_kick_30', 'MM_USSN_kick_40', 'MM_USSN_kick_50' dirs contain the results of runs where we gradually increase the USSN kick, and were used to generate Fig. A2 in the appendix. 'DNS_properties_updated.txt' contains all the observational data used in this paper.
