Soil Mapping Units - Hardin County

This coverage was created as part of an Ohio Capability Analysis Program Tax Project with the Hardin County Auditor for use in the Current Agricultural Use Valuation (CAUV) Program.. Soil mapping units can be used in environmental analyses, erosion analyses, land use planning, etc. They can be used to map a variety of soil characteristics such as texture, pH, depth to seasonal high water table and other information from the tables included in the soil survey.
