Spatial learning - individual data Contains: SpatialLearning_IndividualData.csv Description:Spatial learning and brain morphology data summarized per individual. Columns: ID---Fish identity. Task---Spatial learning task, either allocentric ('ALLO') or egocentric ('EGO'). Batch_2---Batch in which the fish was tested (Allo1, Allo2, Ego1, Ego2) Line---Selection line of the fish, either UP-selected (large telencephalon) or DOWN- selected (small telencephalon). Repl---Replicate (1, 2 or 3). Complete---Whether or not a fish completed the maximum number of trials. NA_50%---Indicates whether fish had >= 50% no-choice trials. Rewarded_Side---Side to which the fish was trained (i.e. the side on which they received food). For allocentric learning, this was either the 'room' or 'wall' side, for egocentric learning this was either 'left' or 'right'. Learner---Whether fish passed the learning criterion or not. Trials_To_Criterion--- Number of trials required to reach the criterion. If fish did not pass, they received the maximum score of 40 trials. Body_Length---Fish body length (in mm). OLF_BULB---Volume of the olfactory bulbs in mm³. TEL---Volume of the telencephalon in mm³. OT---Volume of the optic tectum in mm³. HYPO---Volume of the hypothalamus in mm³. CER---Volume of the cerebellum in mm³. DM---Volume of the dorsal medulla in mm³. BRAIN_TOT---Total brain volume in mm³. ResidualTEL---Residuals from a log(ROB) - log(TEL) regression TELClass20---Whether individuals belonged to the top or bottom 20 % in relative telencephalon size. NA indicates fish that were in neither. ResidualOT---Residuals from a log(ROB) - log(OT) regression. OTClass20---Whether individuals belonged to the top or bottom 20% in relative optic tectum size. NA indicates fish that were in neither.
