Tree-ring width measurements of Pinus peuce from Mount Voras and Chaidou Forest, Greece
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains raw tree-ring width measurements of Pinus peuce (Macedonian pine) from two high-altitude sites in Greece: Mount Voras and Chaidou forest. The material consists of increment cores collected from living trees. Ring widths were measured using the TSAP-Win (Rinntech) system. While measurements were performed at a 0.001 mm precision, they are archived at a 0.01 mm resolution according to the Tucson format standard. All series provided in this repository are fully crossdated. The cross-dating process integrated visual cross-matching with statistical verification via COFECHA, utilizing Student’s t-values and correlation coefficients for evaluation. The measurements are provided in the standard Tucson decadal format (.rwl), where the code 999 is used to signify missing values or the end of a series. This repository includes the complete, crossdated raw measurements. Please note that detrended or standardized chronology files (.crn) are not included in this version. Statistical analysis and chronology development were conducted using TSAP, COFECHA, and R.
