Transcriptome sequencing of different seasonal flower buds and organs from Clematis 'Vyvyan Pennell'

Buds and floral organs from different seasons were sampled from three-year-old Clematis 'Vyvyan Pennell'. Those collected in the spring were double-perianth buds, and the organs were sepals, petaloid organs, and stamens; while those buds gathered in the autumn were single-perianth, the organs only with sepals and stamens. In order to explore the cause of seasonal floral-pattern changes, we have conducted RNA-seq.
