ENHANCING COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE THROUGH TASK-BASED LANGUAGE TEACHING IN EFL CLASSROOMS

This article explores the effectiveness of Task-Based Language Teaching in enhancing communicative competence in English as a Foreign Language classrooms. The study focuses on how meaningful tasks, interaction, and learner-centered practices contribute to the development of speaking, listening, and pragmatic skills. It highlights the shift from traditional form-focused instruction to communicative, real-life language use. The paper also examines recent methodological trends, including digital integration and learner autonomy, which support task-based approaches.
