Long non-coding RNA Dlx6os1 serves as a potential treatment target for diabetic nephropathy via regulating multiple apoptosis and inflammation-related pathways derived from RNA-Seq

We investigated the effect of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) Dlx6os1 silencing on cell proliferation, apoptosis, fibrosis, and further explored its influence on mRNA expression profile in mouse mesangial cells (MMCs) of diabetic nephropathy (DN) cellular model. DN cellular model was constructed in SV40 MES13 cells (MMCs) under high glucose condition (under 30 mmol/L glucose culture). Overall design: LncRNA Dlx6os1 ShRNA plasmids and negative control ShRNA plasmids were transfected into MMCs of DN cellular model as Sh-LncRNA group and Sh-NC group respectively. The mRNA expression profile was determined in Sh-LncRNA group and Sh-NC group.
