Production volume of papaya in India FY 2015-2023

In fiscal year 2023, the volume of papaya production in India is estimated to have amounted to 5.23 million metric tons. This was a slight decrease from the previous fiscal year. Indian papayas were primarily produced in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Karnataka. The south Asian country was the largest producer of this fruit in the world.
