The MalNet Signal dataset is derived from the Androzoo malware repository and processed into 1D signal representations. These signals are used as inputs to machine learning models for malware classification. The 1D representation preserves more information from the original binary and avoids adding spurious spatial correlations, leading to improved performance of downstream models compared to byteplot images. The dataset is categorized to have a size between 1M and 10M and is licensed under Apache-2.0.
