资源简介:
Postbiotics (POSs) are known as inactivated microbes or their byproducts that benefit host health by modulating immunity, inhibiting pathogens, improving gut function, and influencing metabolism. Its roles include immunological control, antibacterial activity, gut health promotion, and metabolism modification. The purpose of this study was to assess how POS affected the gut health of adult cats. Twelve healthy adult British Shorthair cats were selected and divided into two groups based on their initial body weight (BW) and gender. The cats were fed diets containing 0% and 0.05% POS powder supplements in the basal diet (CON and POS groups) for 63 days.
