Raw data for: Distinctive mechanisms of soil priming in different stages and its response to nitrogen addition

The data were from a 30-day incubation experiment with 13C-labeled glucose and nitrogen addition using 51 soil samples (belonging to 15 soil profiles in five forest types) along an elevation gradient. Carbon mineralization data and changes in soil properties ( SOC-derived MBC/DOC, MBN/DN, microbial physiological status, enzyme activities, and microbial communities) after glucose and nitrogen addition were included.
