A portable device for cutting large-sized items contains a closed drive chain (7) mounted with sprockets (5， 6) on supports (34)， which are rigidly attached to the frame (1). To the side plates (18， 19) of the closed drive chain (7)， from the inner sides， rotation supports and cutting bodies (14， 15) with gearing blocks are attached， in contact with a fixed closed guide rack (3) rigidly attached to the frame (1 ). Cutting bodies (14， 15) with a gearing block are located one after the other and rotated 180 ° in relation to each other. The width of the cutting bodies (14， 15) is greater than the width of the closed drive chain (7). The width of the fixed closed toothed rack guide (3) is equal to the total width of the drive gears of the cutting bodies.
