Sensory neurons expressing calcitonin gene-related peptide regulate adaptive thermogenesis and diet-induced obesity

We report role of CGRP+ neurons in the regulation of themogenesis on High fat diet in adipose tissues. We have used RNA Sequencing approach to identify genes that are differentially expressed in BAT and IWAT in HFD fed animals regulating thermogenic program. Overall design: mRNA sequencing was performed on BAT and IWAT adipose tissue from HFD and Normal chow fed animals (n=3 for each group)
