Database of 62 Aztec statuses found in the literature: from gods to prisoners of war. Statuses include the expected roles and/or behaviors, the statuses' place in the Aztec hierarchy or whom the person reports to, the basis of legitimacy, additional comments, and the references cited. Jeffrey Cohen originally collected the data and Michael E. Smith checked Jeffrey's work. Paula Sabloff then added more information to the database.
