In this study, we aimed to reveal the factors affecting the academic motivation of university students affected by the earthquake after the earthquake. We present data on earthquake experiences, mental symptoms and academic motivation. As a result of our study, it was revealed how the earthquake experiences and mental complaints of the students were a predictive factor in academic motivation. Motivation is important for learning in students' academic success. We think that it can contribute to the literature by revealing the factors affecting motivation in this process where the earthquake risk continues, so that students' educational lives can be continued more efficiently and efficiently.
