TKD-Kick3 derived pose-keypoint dataset and analysis files for automated evaluation of fundamental taekwondo kicks

This record contains the de-identified derived pose-keypoint dataset and analysis files supporting the manuscript "On-device recognition and explainable quantitative evaluation of fundamental taekwondo kicks from smartphone videos". The uploaded package includes derived skeletal keypoint sequence files for three fundamental taekwondo kicks, train/validation/test split metadata, analysis code, Python requirements, and source tables corresponding to the manuscript results. Raw smartphone videos are not included because the approved ethics protocol restricts public release of identifiable image/video data collected in educational settings. The released data therefore contain de-identified derived pose-keypoint sequences and analysis materials only. The study was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee/Department of Zhejiang Business College on 1 March 2025. The approved protocol classified the study as minimal risk and permitted oral informed consent with witnessed documentation.
