This database corresponds to the eye tracker experiment carried out in<br>[1]- Amor TA, Reis SD, Campos D, Herrmann HJ, Andrade JS. 2016 Persistence in eye movement<br>during visual search. (doi: 10.1038/srep20815)<br><br>where participants were asked to find a unique number 5 embedded in a cloud of numbers between 1 and 9.<br><br>The folder DATAXY contains files labeled as sN_trial_i_X_cor_sac or sN_trial_i_Y_cor_sac, where N indicates<br>the subject ID and i, the trial that they performed corresponding this to a particular stimuli. The images<br>corresponding to the stimuli can be found in the STIMULI folder. Each file contains the X (Y) position in pixels<br>for the center of mass of a fixation. Specific details on the experimental setup and equipment used can be found in the <br>Material and Methods section in Ref.[1]. Trials that were not correctly recorded were disregarded, thus they are not<br>present in this database.<br><br>A minimal python script was developed in order to make a simple plot of the experimental trajectories (plot_tray.py). <br>Please note, that the figure (test.pdf) is an example trajectory corresponding to S03_trial_1 (which also corresponds to<br>the trajectory in Fig.1 of Ref.[1]).<br>To run this code you need to have installed the following<br>python libraries:<br>-numpy<br>-matplotlib<br><br>To run it, open a terminal and type "python plot_tray.py"<br><br><br>If you use this database please cite [1].<br>If you have any questions or encounter any problems, please do not hesitate to contact Tatiana A.
