XRD files NBP1808 samples

XRD scans of FeMn crust samples. Scans were collected for powdered samples mounted in zero background sample holders in a PANalytical X’Pert PRO X-ray diffractometer from Malvern Panalytical with Cu-Kα radiation, carbon monochromator, and automatic slit (PTRX-004). The scans were performed from 2° to 70° (2θ) at a step size and time of 0.0170° and 0.5 °/min, respectively. Measurements were performed at 40 kV and 30 mA using a curved graphite secondary monochromator. Six samples (D1-1, D21-8, D22-31, D28-32A, D28-32B, D28-32C) were thermally treated at 300°C for 24 h and were reanalyzed to assess changes in the 10Å reflection, which can help identify the 10Å manganese oxide mineral. The reanalyzed scans are marked with a "T". XRD files are named according to the laboratory internal code (8120-1, ..., 8120-27). The corresponding sample ID according to the cruise is given in table "Sample code".
