Data for the paper entitled \"Algal bioaccumulation and toxicity of platinum are increased in the presence of humic acids\".

This dataset includes measured total platinum concentrations and ultrafiltrable platinum concentrations in the presence and absence of Suwannee River Humic Acid. The amount of platinum taken up by the unicellular green algae Chlorella fusca and Chlamydomonas reinhardtii as well as the 96-h growth inhibition are also provided.
