The 1:4,000,000 soil type distribution map of Yibin City, Sichuan Province is one of the outcomes of the Second National Soil Survey of China. This soil map adopts the Chinese Genetic Soil Classification System, with the soil subgroup as its minimum mapping unit, and covers a total of 61 soil groups and 157 soil subgroups. This map was compiled by the National Soil Survey Office and published by Xi'an Map Publishing House in 1996. The digital version of this map was produced by scanning the originally published paper copy, performing spatial geometric correction, and conducting digital processing and editing, and strictly adheres to the cartographic specifications and standards of the original paper map.
