Clarireedia jacksonii genome sequencing, assembly, and annotation

This project aims to investigate the genetic differences between a highly propiconazole-resistant isolate of Clarireedia jacksonii (HRI11) and a sensitive isolate (HRS10). The genomes were sequenced using the Nanopore MinION sequencing platform, complemented by hybrid assembly incorporating existing Pacific Biosciences long reads and Illumina short reads. This effort has resulted in the first fully annotated genome for C. jacksonii, providing a valuable resource for advancing research on fungicide resistance and the biology of this species.
