Replication Data for: The Effects of Reduced Educational Opportunities on Labor Market Outcomes: Evidence from Female College Restrictions

This is the replication package for the paper \"The Effects of Reduced Educational Opportunities on Labor Market Outcomes: Evidence from Female College Restrictions\". This folder contains the replication scripts for the main text and the Online Appendix. `Main_tables.do` contains the code for all tables in the main text. `Main_figures.do` contains the code for all figures in the main text. `OA_tables.do` contains the code or source notes for the tables in the Online Appendix. Some appendix tables are constructed from policy documents, admission booklets, aggregate university data, or code referenced in other scripts, as indicated in the file comments. `OA_figures.do` contains the code or source notes for the figures in the Online Appendix. `Iran_Map_01.R` contains the R code for the appendix map figure on the intensity of the 2012 education quota across locations in Iran. The Stata scripts require the underlying analysis datasets referenced in the code, and the working directory should be set before execution. Some scripts also export output to folders such as `Graphs` and `MainResults`. The R script expects the shapefile folder `irn_adm_unhcr_20190514_shp` and the input file `data_dt.csv`. Software requirements: Stata for the `.do` files and R for `Iran_Map_01.R`. The Stata code uses user-written commands including `reghdfe`, `coefplot`, `outreg2`, `rddensity`, `lpdensity`, and `regsave`.
