资源简介:
These data originate from a study on people with severe mental illness (SMI) residing in supported housing settings, finding and maintaining paid or unpaid work. This study examined how professionals adjust job‑coaching trajectories to respond to clients’ specific needs. It aimed to clarify how these trajectories unfold in practice and under which conditions individuals with SMI in supported housing are able to engage in and sustain meaningful daily activities — including paid or unpaid work — as part of their recovery. A realist evaluation approach was applied to identify what works for whom and under which circumstances. Self‑Determination Theory provided the lens to examine the motivational processes that encourage clients to pursue and sustain paid or unpaid work.
Data is based on qualitative interview data from individuals with severe mental illness (SMI) and their job coaches (interviews took place in dyads). In addition, two mixed focus groups were conducted, involving job coaches and their supervisors providing broader professional perspectives on job‑coaching practices.
