Germline mutagenicity of molnupiravir and its active form, beta-d-N4 hydroxycytidine, in Caenorhabitis elegans evaluated using shole genome sequencing

F0 C. elegans worms were treated with molnupiravir, an antivirus medine, and its active form. Genome DNA from their F1 offspring was sequenced and compared to vehcle control and positive control (EMS treatment). The mutation frequency and types of mutations in the whole genome DNA were determined to evaluate germline mutagenicity of molnupiravir in C. elegans.
