Dataset associated with the paper "Exploring the effects of mineral depletion on renewable energy technologies net energy returns"

This dataset provides the input data and R code needed to fully reproduce the analysis conducted in the paper "Exploring the effects of mineral depletion on renewable energy technologies net energy returns." To do so, the code reads the material intensities of each renewable energy technology and the energy intensities of mining each material, and estimates the variation in net energy returns for each renewable energy technology. The methodology is described in-depth in the associated paper.
