The attached excel spreadsheets are supplementary material to the - yet unpublished - article "Why call it equality?" revisited: An extended critique of the EIGE Gender Equality Index. The files document the reconstruction of the 2017 and 2020 Gender Equality Indices by the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), forming the basis of the article's analyses. Calculations follow the EIGE's methodology and uses publicly available data that can be downloaded from the EIGE website. Both excel files include links to the EIGE methodology and data.
